They have great sound, they are light and fold up small and compact. Can't beat these. If these cost 5Xs what they sell for, these really are excellent. They are comfortable, you will forget they are on. I couldn't be more pleased.
I was so impressed with these headphones that I ended up buying 4 more as gifts. They sound great and the included carrying case is very good at protecting them when traveling. There is an included little "O" ring thingy that lets you snug the wires up under your chin, keeping them out of the way. The only weak points is that the jack is a straight wire rather than a right angle and the wires seem very thin and fragile, making the case that much more important.
I had the Sennheiser PX 200s in high school- When blocking sound was key. In loud situations (Public bus) the only way to lose the crowd is to turn up the volume and that's bad.Wonderful lightweight open collapsable headphones- Perfect for those seeking a quiet respite in the library or on your morning walk/jog. I'd say 5-15% noise reduction with no music.
Crossing streets, running into acquaintances, and not sacrificing sound quality. At all. Beginning in college, I was walking around a lot more.
This is wonderful for when you are crossing a busy street or get asked a question on the bus, but it cannot drown out sound. The PX 200 and PX 100 are similar in sound quality when listening in a quiet room (Libraries), and luckily the music needs to be especially loud in order to leak out the side (A problem I have with other students wearing earbuds is how incredibly annoying it is to hear JUG-JUG-JUG-JUGGA-JUGGA-JUG-JUG over their earbuds). These headphones are incredibly lightweight, collapsable and perfectly foldable, work with the iPhone classic (Not that anyone has one of those anymore. Man I'm old), and don't sacrifice quality. The only bad thing with them is how OPEN they are.
Like, not at all. Not recommended for angry teenagers who need to drown out their parents with Linkin Park.
These headphones got great reviews in PCMag and elsewhere. Sennheiser does not ship replacement ear pads to the USA.
I have purchased 4 of them over the last two years. These sound great and they are comfortable.
Though to purchase replacement ear pads (part number 89331), I had to go to Ebay and pay 7.90 or so for a bag of two. For work and the family.
Never had a problem - any problem. Oh well.
So, I like them.
Thanks to some timely repairs I managed to get another year of use but just recently the connection to the right headphone frayed through completely. As many others have said, these headphones have very good sound quality, particularly for the price. My main complaint is with the wire connections. After a year or so of owning these headphones the plastic had started to tear (with normal usage). So that's that. While the headphones worked I really enjoyed them, but based on my experience, don't expect the PX100 to last more than a few years.
